Last updated: 23 April 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Coast Media Team Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). For the purposes of UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, Coast Media Team Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
Company number: 14621153. Registered office: 167–169 Great Portland Street, Fifth Floor, London, W1W 5PF.
This policy applies to information collected through this website. It does not cover other websites we link to.
Information we collect
Information you send us through the contact form
When you submit an enquiry, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your company name, if you choose to provide it;
- the service you are interested in; and
- the content of your message, including anything you choose to tell us about yourself or your business.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message, as we do not need it to respond.
Information you give us by telephone or email
If you call or email us, we will receive your telephone number or email address and any information you share in the conversation or correspondence.
Technical information
When you visit the website, the hosting provider’s servers automatically process technical information needed to deliver pages to your device and protect the service, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.
How we use it, and our lawful bases
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss possible work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and developing our business. Where you are asking about entering into a contract with us, we may also rely on the processing being necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining accurate business records and being able to refer back to previous discussions.
- To operate and secure the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website.
- To comply with the law. Where we must keep or disclose information to meet a legal obligation, that obligation is our lawful basis.
We do not use information submitted through the website for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where necessary, with:
- our website hosting provider, which serves the website and processes technical information as described above;
- our email delivery provider, Resend, which transmits contact-form enquiries to our inbox;
- professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where reasonably required; and
- law enforcement, regulators or other authorities where we are legally required to do so.
Service providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on the following safeguards: UK adequacy regulations, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for 24 months from our last contact with you, unless they lead to a client relationship, in which case the information becomes part of our client records and is kept for as long as needed for that relationship and any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries is limited to people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you provide.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking, and it does not set cookies of its own. Fonts are served from our own website rather than from a third party. Because of this, the website does not show a cookie consent banner.
If we introduce analytics or other technologies that store or access information on your device in future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right, in certain circumstances, to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to erase your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests; and
- ask us to transfer information you have given us to another organisation.
Some rights apply only in particular circumstances. We will respond to requests within the time limits set by law, normally one month. You will not usually be charged a fee.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so that we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
